My Little Cutie

I can't get over how cute this little girl is!
Look at that cute little smirk
Can't help but kiss those cheeks!
Last night after her bath I set her in her chair so I could clean up. She did so well to sit there and stare at her toys. I love the look on her face, such concentration!

Our Little Sleeping Beauty

She is a newborn so she of course sleeps a lot and she does it in the most adorable way. I have lots of pictures of her sleeping, it is hard to not take pictures when she is just so sweet and innocent and absolutely adorable.

She has giggled a few times in her sleep. Adorable! Here she is with a smile while she is sleeping.

This was a funny day. She was sleeping on Robert's chest and she kept moving. We couldn't stop laughing at some of the places she moved to in her sleep. The uncomfortable looking positions and our laughing didn't even wake her.

We love her!

2 week check ups

We both had our two week check ups and did great. This picture was actually taken the day (8/19) of my check up but she looked so cute! The office staff loved her!

This was taken the day (8/15) of her two week check up. They had to take some blood from her heel and so she just slept the rest of the day. Her two week stats: Height 19.7 inches (28%), weight 7lbs 10oz (30%) HC 14.17" (54%)
This is a picture I took this morning (8/23). She is growing! This is the outfit we brought her home from the hospital in and it was pretty loose and now it is getting a little short in the legs. We sure do love our growing little girl!

She makes three!

I could watch her sleep for a long time. She is just so cute. We got really lucky and got a sweet baby.
It was fun and so nice having mom and dad come and be here for a week.
Grandpa was a great babysitter while mom and I ran some errands
Today (08/12/13) I was changing her after her afternoon nap and found that her cord fell off. Such a big girl!

We love having her home!

Introducing Kyleeann

At my 36 week appointment we found out that our little girl was breech. I looked up online different methods to get the baby to flip. Our little miss did not care and stayed right side up. Her head was positioned so that the doctor couldn't try and turn her either.  We got scheduled for a c section for Friday August 2nd and were suppose to be at the hospital by 5:30 am. A little early for me especially since Robert and I ended up staying up until 1 am.

This is my last pregnant picture on our way out the door.
If only getting there at an hour where I should still be asleep was my only issue of the morning but it wasn't. We got to the hospital and every computer was down. They couldn't get me checked in. After 15 minutes they finally just took me up to get ready. While the nurses prepped me Robert got dressed in his scrubs. He was really excited, he was the lucky one who didn't get an IV...

I threw up throughout my whole pregnancy so of course I did one last time in the OR but it was all worth it because at 7:50 am on 08/02/2013 we officially got our little girl into the world.

Kyleeann Bree: 6lbs 14oz, 18.5 inches and a head full of hair

Robert got to go with Kyleeann to get cleaned up and to do all her tests while I got put back together. I did get to see her cute little face for a minute after she got cleaned up and taken for her tests.

I was rolled into the OR at 7:15, she was born at 7:50, I was done at 8:30 and I was back in my room by 8:45. I wasn't able to get out of bed until midnight so Robert was the one who changed her diapers and would bring her to me when she was hungry.
It's hard to see but my IV is in, I have an oxygen monitor thing on my finger, LED's on my chest, blood pressure cuff on my arm (which automatically took my blood pressure on a schedule. I was so excited to get that off!), three ID bracelets (1 handwritten because the computers were down, 1 for me from when the computers did work, and 1 to match baby girl), oh and a nausea bag which I had on my bed since they started my IV. Oh and there is my lung exercise thing on the table next to me, I hated that thing.

This picture was taken Saturday afternoon after I finally showered. I felt so much better after I showered and changed!

We are so excited that we are now a family of three!
