Branch Halloween Bash

Friday night was our Branch Halloween party. Robert and I were contestants on The Price is Right-College Edition. Kyleeann was an owl.
Kyleeann and Addison, they are 6 weeks apart.
Kyleeann was walking a little at the party but I didn't get any pictures.
Thanks Ashlee for the awesome pictures!

Random crazy girl

The teller at the bank thought Kyleeann was adorable and gave her a sucker. I let her have it at the store for entertainment while I shopped. This was her first sucker, I'm surprised she knew what to do and she had the whole thing no problem.
Yesterday for her morning nap she slept with a book on her face. I have no idea how that could have been comfortable or why she did it.
She is still using chairs and baskets to walk around faster.
I have no idea what or why she is doing this. She did it a lot yesterday afternoon. We have one random kid.
We took a walk outside today. She will walk with just holding onto one hand.

Pumpkin Patch

For play group this week went to a pumpkin patch on the island. It was a lot of fun! They read the kids stories, took a tour of the pumpkins, danced to some music, and they gave out Halloween coloring sheets.
I really need to work on my picture taking timing skills:
Lots of fun shaped and textured gourds!
There were adorable mini pumpkins for $1
Kyleeann picked one to take home
I did put her in pigtails for the pumpkin patch but she got them out on the drive there so I put them back in when we got home.
Today was also Grandpa Dave's birthday!
Happy Birthday Grandpa!
We had to have a few photo options to send Grandpa his birthday wishes and I thought I would share a few

Pigtails

I distracted Kyleeann with Daniel Tiger's neighborhood so I could try to do her hair.
I am not good at getting them even. Practice will make perfect hopefully!

Crocs

Kyleeann is not often seen wearing shoes, even from the very beginning she had a talent for getting shoes off, she just did not like having them on and I didn't really care. The past week or so though she has been trying to put shoes on and I decided it was time for her to have a pair that fit her and was easy for me to put on. We went and got her a pair of crocs. Classic crocs look cute on little kids, I have at least 10 pairs of crocs and none of them are classics because I don't think they are cute on adults but kids they do!

Kyleeann wore them out of the store and around the rest of the mall as we had a few things to get Robert. On the way home we heard a squeaking. Kyleeann was chewing on them. Silly girl!

This morning as soon as she found them she tried to put them on. She hasn't quite mastered that skill yet so I helped her put them on and she kept them on until I took them off for her morning nap.
As soon as she found them after her morning nap she tried to put them again. As soon as I put them on her she went straight to the front door.
I'm glad she likes them!

Kids meal

Kyleeann has reached another milestone, her first kids meal! We went to Chick fil A with some friends for lunch and she got her very own meal so she wouldn't eat mine. She loved it!

Bangs

Kyleeann's bangs have been hanging in her eyes and I finally got the courage to cut them.
The before and after:
