Kyleeann's Blessing

While we were up in South Dakota we blessed Kyleeann. It was a wonderful day! Grandpa and Grammy and Sam and his family all traveled to be there as well. We got to see lots of people, it was so much fun and we were so happy that so many wanted to be a part of Kyleeann's day.

Kyleeann in her beautiful dress that Grandma Sherri made her. I forgot to get a picture of Kyleeann in her dress with Grandma.
Kyleeann taking a little snooze before lunch started. My mom's cousin Cindy made her little bracelet.

Our Nebraska Trip

We left Wednesday morning at 3 am and got to Kansas City at 4pm and stopped there for the night at Kim and Peter's house and then went to Omaha on Thursday. (The Pictures are out of order)

We had breakfast at McDonald's on the North side of Dallas
This is Brett (Cousin) holding Kyleeann on Friday

This is Wednesday in Kansas City with Jenna (Cousin) holding Kyleann. I don't know how she thought that was a comfortable way to sleep but she did.
This is Thursday night in Omaha and Gabriel (Cousin) is holding her. She didn't cry the whole time I just didn't get a picture of her being happy with him.

This was Thursday afternoon in Omaha. Nick and Sydnee (pictured further down) were the reason we made the road trip up, they got married September 28th.
Kyleeann staring at Robert. We don't know exactly why she was staring but she just tilted her head up and looked at him for several minutes, it was funny.

Sydnee with Kyleeann, such a happy girl in this picture!
I think that is all my pictures from Nebraska, I'm getting better at taking more pictures but I could still get better.

Iowa Cousins

These pictures are taken in South Dakota but they are Kyleeann's cousins who live in Iowa.
Gretel and Kyleeann
 Gretel and Kyleeann again
Ava holding Kyleeann. She loves holding Kyleeann, that is all she wanted to do, she was not interested in playing much with her siblings just always waiting for the next opportunity to hold her.
Joseph holding Kyleeann. He also really loved holding her and would just sit so nicely holding her for long periods of time.

Ava holding Kyleeann Sunday morning, she was so good with her, she could even get Kyleeann to go to fall asleep.
Ava holding her Saturday night. I just keep thinking of Ava as the little two year old who would ask me to paint her nails and now she is big enough to hold my baby.

Water Girl

Kyleeann was being fussy last night so we decided to give her a bath. She loves baths and it worked, she stopped being fussy
 This picture cracks me up

Menchie's Tour

Menchie's is a frozen yogurt shop and they had a groupon for a kid tour. A few ladies in my ward got together to do it. Kyleeann and I decided to take her cousin Daniel.
This is Kyleeann in her baby carrier during the tour.

 Looking into the freezer
Checking out where the stuff goes in the frozen yogurt machine
Here is Daniel chowing down on his frozen yogurt
He wasn't too sure about the mascot
All three of us! We had a lot of fun! It got crazy a few times with all the kids (10 I think) running around but we would do it again!

Clumsy Kelsie+Boiling Water =Burns

Saturday night I was making spaghetti for dinner and when I took the pan of noodles over to the sink to drain I dropped the pot right as I was starting to pour and got boiling water all over my arm.
This is my arm about 30 minutes after it happened.
It is harder to see on my lower arm but that is where it hurt the most.
Good thing I have a nursing pillow because it hurt to have anything on my arm so for a day Kyleeann just got propped up on the pillow to eat.
This is my arm this afternoon (Monday) It is still really red and ugly but it doesn't hurt anymore
It is still kind of hard to see on my lower arm but it is there. It doesn't hurt but I am still being gentle with it just in case.
I'm glad Kyleeann was in the other room watching football with Robert when it happened.

Kyleeann's Chair

Kyleeann will do so well in her chair sometimes which is nice so I can get things done. Here she is just content while I showered and got ready.
Here she fell asleep while I did dishes. I love that little chair. She likes being in it and I can move it from room to room where I need it.

Dinner Date

Tonight we went out to eat with our friends Ryan and Tanya at 528 Asian Bistro.

Robert wanted Kyleeann to have his fortune

This was my fortune, I wasn't all that impressed. At least the food was good. I got the minced shrimp lettuce wraps and Robert got the Emperor Chicken.

Getting So Big

Last night Kyleeann wore a 0-3 month sleeper for the first time. All her newborn sleepers that fit were in the washer and so I thought I would try one to see how it fit. It fit! She is getting so big so fast!

Smiles

We are leaving next week to visit Nebraska and South Dakota. I asked her today if she was excited to go see Grandma and Grandpa and she would smile and give me cute faces when I asked. I love that she is becoming more expressive. So much fun!

I put Kyleeann in her chair in the kitchen so I could make dinner and do some dishes and she fell asleep. I took a picture to send Robert at work and thought I would put it on here too. We are so lucky to have such a good baby.

Nap time on the Couch

When I laid her down she was just on one couch cushion, it didn't take long for her to get like this.

I figured I would add a picture of her without her bum sticking up in the air.

Pacifier

Kyleeann will take a pacifier but she doesn't have to have it. Sometimes she sleeps with it sometimes she doesn't and sometimes she does this:

What a goofball. I actually am glad that she will take it sometimes but is not dependent on having it, I think it will make it easier to get rid of when she is older.

I also made that binky clip that is partially shown in the picture. It was really easy and fun to make.
