We had a busy day today. Lots of running around and Kyleeann was so good all day. In the morning we went to the post office around 9:30 to pick up a package and then went to play group. She did get fussy on the way to play group but I can't blame her because I was annoyed to. On the way to play group we got stopped by a train, and it was the worse getting stopped by a train I have ever had. The train was moving when we pulled up behind the line of cars which wasn't too long but then the train stopped. Several cars turned around but I decided that if I did that then the train would just start moving so I might as well just wait. After a few minutes the train started moving again so I was happy about that, five minutes later when the train was still going by I wasn't as happy. Finally I could see the caboose and that is when Kyleeann started to fuss and I so I started thinking ok train now really hurry up so the car can start moving and put her back to sleep. No such luck. I could start to tell that the train was slowing down and I started thinking OK it is just going to stop right past the road so the growing line of cars on both sides can be on their way. Once again no such luck. The caboose stopped right in the middle of the road. I just kept thinking this seriously can't be happening but it was. Surely they would quickly realize that is where it stopped and get it moving again so I waited for a few minutes and then finally gave up and turned around and went another way. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry!
In the afternoon Kyleeann had an orthopedic doctors appointment to check her hips because she was breech. They didn't have a baby scale at the office so they weighed her in her car seat and then just the car seat and recorded her weight at 10.5 lbs. I can't believe she weighs so much! Well maybe I can she does feel very heavy sometimes. After the doctor I had a few other errands to run and so we didn't get home until almost 4pm. It was a long time to be running around but she was so good and made me a proud and grateful mom!
